science research

Another one of the many reasons why Bill Gates is my role model.

Software tycoon Bill Gates' philanthropic foundation is paying out more than £240 million (436.6 million dollars) to fund 43 research projects, from finding Aids vaccines to boosting the nutritional content of bananas.

let the person live

If this does not make you want to cry or puke your guts out I do not know what might. A few of us were having a discussion about abortions after having shown them the article on abortions at Rajan's blog. Mike came up with that website, and I am glad I had finished consuming my baked beans before viewing it fully.

malaysian blogger blogs about "geek"

A rather fiesty blogger blogs about what being a geek is about for him. Well...at least I think so! Got his page by way of a comment in Rajan's blog. I like the very first pointer he made about slashdot, because I never really took a shining to that site somehow. Must have been the confusing way in which they do things, their user interface is nasty in my opinion!

chinese bloggers comment

mmmm

Something is very wrong with this banner promoting Singapore. I cannot quite make out the middle picture, but it looks like a mosque to me. What in tardation made the designers and organisors decide to use a picture of a mosque to represent Singapore? They should have used the 'durian' instead.

Was browsing through the photos of Ray via Rajan's blog.

Sally and Muffin. This was taken about a year ago, at that time Munchin (on the right) was still a 'child'. You can tell from the way her fur appears on her forehead. As of today, she is half a size larger than Sally. These are roborovski hamsters, also known as dwarf hamsters.
